DIY: Natural Facial Moisturizer

If you're looking for a way to green your beauty routine then look no further. You can make your own natural facial moisturizer to save your family money. The best part is that you know exactly what is going into the products that you put on your face!

Essential Oil Recipes

Essential Oils can be used alone but they are dynamic when mixed together! When I'm tired and I just can go to sleep then I reach for my lavender, vetiver and marjoram. Or when I'm having sure muscles then I reach for my deep blue blend with a bit or marjoram or eucalyptus essential oil.

There are so many ways that essential oils can be used to add to your total wellness plan.

And since I've been using essential oils I cut back on so many of my expenses because I can make my own non-toxic blends to alleviate aches, pains and discomfort that I have when I'm not feeling my best. I can also use essential oils for my children when they are not feeling well.

To use any of the recipes above, remember to dilute the oils with a bit of fractionated coconut oil (or another carrier oil) and apply to oil to the bottoms or your feet, neck and/or spine. These are the best ways to use the oils but they can also be added to a diffuser and diffused on and off for 15 minutes at a time.

Chakra balancing with Essential Oils

The chakras are energy centers located on our bodies.

"In Sanātana/Hindu and tantric/yogic traditions and other belief systems, chakras (चक्र) are energy points or nodes in the subtle body. Chakras are part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and as such are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels called nadiis. Nadiis are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana) (non-physical) or vital energy (non-physical) moves. Various scriptural texts and teachings present a different number of chakras. There are many chakras in the subtle human body according to the tantric texts, but there are seven chakras that are considered to be the most important ones."

We can use essential oils to balance the chakras and when are chakras ae balanced we can experience total wellness.

Gardening with Essential Oils

Essential oils have many used including gardening!

If you're looking for ways to green your home then look no further! Essential oils are a great non-toxic way to make cleaning products that are safe for you, your family and the environment.

One easy, green recipe is a Weed Killer. All you need is while vinegar, salt, dish soap and one tablespoon of clove essential oil or orange essential oil. Place this mixture in a spray bottle and now you're ready for your summer gardening. And the best part is that this mixture is safe to spray around pets.

The only essential oils that I use are doTERRA, find out more about them here: mydoterra.com/nicoledantzler
